The Honorable Robert N. Jenkins, Sr.
In 1996, the General Assembly of The State of South Carolina elected Attorney Robert N. Jenkins, Sr. to Judge of The Circuit Family Court of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Seat #5 where he continues to give service to equal justice under law to all South Carolina citizens.
Throughout his career he has given life to meaning of "equal justice under law" through his advocacy and leadership role in Legal Aid Programs for those without means of access to our judicial system in South Carolina. His personal vision for his life is to "Do Justice, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with God", Micah 6:8. He is married to the former Margaret Rivers of McClellanville, SC. He and his wife have two sons, Robert N. Jenkins, Jr. and Jason Matthew Jenkins.

Foothills Rotary College Scholarship Recipients Selected
For several years the Bridges to a Brighter Future program at Furman has been supported by our Rotary club through year-end donations. This year, in addition to our annual donation to the program, we are pleased to have funds available to award to two individuals who excelled in their Bridges studies and have been recognized by the Bridges staff and board as outstanding high school students with boundless potential. The recipients for 2009-2010 were:
- John Awadalla, a J.L. Mann student seeking to pursue Chemistry studies at Furman University
- Lakeshia Ellis, a Carolina Academy student seeking to pursue Nursing studies at Greenville Technical School
Duck Derby a Quacking Success!
Hundreds of spectators gathered above and beside Greenville's Reedy River to cheer on the1000+ highly trained rubber duckies entered in the May Ken-Ducky Derby. The well dressed quackers, all adopted in support of local charities, were released near the Main Street Bridge to journey down and over the water falls to the sound of rousing cheers and duck calls. Sponsored by the Greenville Evening Rotary Club and assisted by other local Rotary clubs.
