Gathering Publicity Bucks and Donations for Alzheimer's research.

Foothills Rotary meets during the noon hour to share lively fellowship and good food with much banter and camaraderie. We gather coins at each meeting for Alzheimer's research. We donate a buck if we landed in the publicity world and celebrate personal, professional and club happiness with donations of happy bucks. Members contribute if they can and join the cheering section if not. All is done in fun and with the goal of furthering out various causes. We are not a club of wealthy individuals; we are retired teachers, active educators, white collar workers, nonprofit officers and business owners. You will chat with a nuclear physicist, an automotive sales rep, a former principal and a YMCA director.

We arrive circa 12 noon, bypass the Golden Corral pay line and head to the back meeting room where we pay for meals (if not prepaid), receive our badges and order our drinks. We then head out to select from the many Golden Corral options. Following our meal (circa 12:35pm) we come to order to discuss community and family updates, business news, Rotary projects and learn from our weekly featured speaker. We conclude circa 1:15 pm. Visitors may purchase their meal from our Treasurer for $10. Additional donations are welcome but optional.
